Cocoa Butter

Cocoa Butter, also called theobroma oil or theobroma cacao, is a pale- yellow, pure edible vegetable fat extracted from the cacao bean. Cocoa beans are ground into chocolate liquor and pressed to separate the cocoa butter from the cocoa solids.

Cocoa butter is used to make white chocolate, in milk chocolate, used to make pharmaceuticals as a base suppositories, in non-fat products, used in cosmetics, and skin care products, like soap and lotion.

Cocoa butter is good for the skin and hair. It is used to prevent stretch marks in pregnant women, treatment of chapped skin and lips, and as daily moisturizer to prevent dry and itchy skin and keeps hair nice and moisturized.

Here are some products that have Cocoa Butter in them Alba,Giovanni Cosmetic sand Carol's Daughter.

Shea Butter

Butyrospermum Parkii, Butyrospermum Paradoxum, and now called Vitellaria Paradoxa those are some of the scientific names for Shea Butter. Another name for Shea Butter is Shea Nut Butter.

Shea Butter is a whitish or yellowish fat obtained from the seeds of the Shea Tree that grows naturally in Savannah belt of West Africa, used as food and for making soap and candles. It is also used in cosmetics as a moisturizer and an emollient, and as cooking oil in West Africa, as well as sometime being used in the chocolate industry as a substituted for cocoa butter.

The good things about Shea Butter are it is a good moisturizer and emollient and it's a anti-inflammatory agent and it also treats other skin conditions like fading scars, eczema, burns, rashes, acne, severely dry skin and so on,and so on... Shea Butter is good for the hair in maintaining moisture in dry brittle hair, in addition to retaining softness and preventing breakage.

Here are some product that have Shea Butter in them Abla
and Hamadi I hope that you find something in these product line that you like.

Natural and Organic Pomades

Natural and Organic Pomades...

I couldn't find anything on natural pomades or organic pomades, but I could find information on conventional pomades, so I will start from there...

Pomades- A perfumed ointment, especially one used to groom the hair.

Pomades is a greasy or waxy substance that is used to style hair. Pomades are all so sold oils. So natural pomades and organic pomades are made with natural sold oils like shea butter, coco butter, coconut oil and natural waxes like beeswax, soy wax. Most natural and organic pomades are made with a mixer of naturals sold oils and natural wax and other natural and organic ingredients.

I feel that natural and organic pomades are better for the hair and scape, than conventional pomades, they don't colt the hair and scape make like conventional pomades do and they don't dry the hair and scape. With natural and organic pomades the oil seeps into the hair and scape, not colt, which gives better moisture and longer lasting moisture.

Here are some natural and organic pomades Hamadi Shae Butter Pomade , John Master Organic Hair Pomade, and Giovanni Mangnetic Force Styling Wax. I hope you these products as much as I do.

Semi-Organic

What is Semi-organic? Well lets start with a few terms like:

Semi- A prefix signifying half, and sometimes partly or imperfectly; as, semiannual, half yearly; semitransparent, imperfectly transparent.

Organic- Of, relating to or derival from living organisms: organic matter.

d. Simple, healthful, and close to nature: an organic lifestyle.

Conventional- is a set of agreed, stipulated or generally accepted standards, norms, social norms or criteria, often taking the form of a custom.

Nature- The natural or real aspects of a person, place, or thing.

So Semi-organic is product or items that are 50% or less organic. The semi-organics that I wouldn't use so much are the conventional semi-organics, I would use them once or twice a month. The semi-organics that I would use very often though all natural semi-organics, which may be a bit better than some organic or double the goodness.

Here are some semi-organic conventional lines of products: Phyto, and Organic Root Stimulator.

Here are some semi-organic all natural lines of products: L'Occitane, Aveda, and Jason Naturals.

Semi-: Definition from Answers...

Natural Beauty

What is natural? Sometimes I wonder this, especially when people try to say I'm plain jane. I don't really think I am, I just think I'm natural looking, and than some people think I have makeup on and I don't, I just a natural beauty, organic beauty.

What is natural? Natural come from the word nature, which refers to the phenomena of the physical word, and also to life in general...

What is natural? Natural exists and evolved within the confines of an eco-system of or relating to nature. Natural is without artificial additives. Natural is expected, like flowers are expected to grow, like children expected to play, like the birth of someone, or something, it's natural.

Nature means birth...

What is beauty? Beauty is the property, quality, or state of being "that which pleases merely by being perceived"; that is attractive, pleasing, fine, or good looking, comeliness, a pleasant for the eye to see.

So what is natural beauty? It's a beauty that is expected, a beauty that we are born with, and that is pleasant to the eye.

Herbs, the Healing Food

I know your probably wondering why I'm writing a lot about herbs in this blog on organic and becoming a organic beauty.  Herbs are some of the main ingredients in organic.  So that's why I will be writing a lot about herbs.

away, enough of that...

Why do I say herbs are a healing food, is because herbs have many medicinal benefits to help the immune system, to help hair, teeth and nails grow, to help the muscle and help skin feel better.  Herbs can be eaten in the form of some fruits and vegetable and seasoning like celery, cranberry, cinnamon, clove, and we drink them in herbal teas, some juices and health drinks.

Herbs are used in many different forms to feed the body like essential oils, extracts, plasters, compresses, and poultices, powders, salves, ointments, and creams, syrups, infusions, and decoction, tinctures, vinegars, wine, and these are all the ways that herbs are used in to the body.

Here is a item that has some herbs in it like rosemary, which is good for the hair and skin, and lemongrass which is also good for the hair and skin.  Hamadi Shea Hair Cream contain rosemary and lemongrass which are good for the  and many other ingredient that are good for the hair like shea butter, grapefruit.  I like this product because it actually keeps my hair straighter longer, but I don't really use this all the time when using organic hair and skin care product it's ok to switch up or back and forth, and since I think of Hamadi as a sime-organic, which I'll explain later, I switch to Giovanni the 3rd and 4th week of the mouth after a relaxer, which I will explain later.  If you want to try this product click here for more information.

What is Organic

Well lets start with organic food.  Organic food is grown without the use of conventional pesticides and artificial fertilizers, free from contamination by human or industrial  waste, and processed without irradiation or additives.  Organic livestock are reared without the routine use of antibiotics and without the use of growth hormones, are generally fed a healthy diet.

Next lets talk about organic farming.  Organic farming is a form of agriculture that relies on crop rotation, green manure, compost, biological pest control, and mechanical cultivation to maintain soil productivity and control pests, and excluding or strictly limiting the use of synthetic fertilizers and synthetic pesticides, plant regulators, livestock feed additives, and genetically modified organisms.  So that is just a little bit about organic farming, which brings about organic.

Now I'm going to talk about organic certification and organic products.  Organic certification is a certification process for producers of organic food and other organic agricultural products.  What I have learned about organic products is when I read the label of a product, I have some ideal of what the ingredients are, I've learned that skin and hair feel better, skin softer, hair soft and strong, and I feel a lot better.

If you want to try some organic hair, skin, and body or you just want some organics than click here, and if you want more information click the link below.
